GE Approved to Circulate T700 Turboshaft Engines

The US Federal Aviation Administration has officially given exemption to GE Aviation to sell T700 military-designation turboshaft engines commercially. After the offer of exemption, within just a matter of weeks, Firehawk Helicopters sent two UH-60A helicopters, which were powered by the new T700-701D engines to aid in firefighting efforts in Idaho and Oregon. In addition to this, it has also allowed the possibility for GE to sell these parts to the US Army.

Over the decades, the T700 collection has made some significant advancements when it comes to power, resilience and reliability.
