Dual Lock Fastener - Components Catalog

While dual lock fasteners seem similar to a velcro strap, there are distinct differences between the two and many reasons for why the former is much more preferential to the latter. Like velcro, the dual lock fastener acts as straps but the way that they connect is where the differences lie. The dual lock is made up of a liner, a pressure sensitive adhesive, and interlocking stems. This makeup is simple but allows the dual lock to fasten with more strength than normal velcro. This is why dual lock fasteners are more often utilized for industrial work.
